Fibrin glue is very useful but difficult to use in otomicrosurgery. A simple method is as follows: two drops of component A (fibrinogen) and component B (thrombin) are separately dropped on two aseptic slide glasses from each syringe. Small piece (1mm3) of Gelfoam is picked up by Rosen needle, immersed in the drop A and painted to a target. Then, another piece picked up by another needle is immersed in component B and sufficiently mixed with A. Each Gelfoam piece can also be left to support tissue or ossicles. Each drop is available within 4 hours if not mixed.
