甲状腺癌の腎転移症例

A CASE OF METASTATIC RENAL TUMOR FROM A THYROID CARCINOMA

緒言

　悪性腫瘍の腎転移が生存中に発見されることは稀である。ことに，甲状腺癌からの腎転移症例は，著者らの検索しえた範囲では6例の報告がみられるのみである。最近われわれは，甲状腺癌の右骨盤内への転移症例において偶然に左腎腫瘍が発見され，摘除腎の病理組織学的検査にて甲状腺癌の転移であることが確認された1例を経験したので報告する。

A 63-year-old woman was referred to our department for further examinations and treatment of a left renal tumor which had been discovered on excretory urography, selective renal arteriography and CT scan. Thirty years ago, she underwent an excision of follicular carcinoma of the thyroid. Seven years and four months ago, right hemipelvectomy associated with tumor resection was performed and the pathological diagnosis was metastatic carcinoma of the pelvic bone from the thyroid tumor.
