頸動脈小体腫瘍摘出術における内シャントチューブの応用

Internal Vascular Shunt Tube in Resection of Carotid Body Tumor

　はじめに

　頸動脈小体腫瘍の摘出術では腫瘍と頸動脈の剥離および出血のコントロールが問題となる。今回われわれは頸動脈内シャントチューブを用いた頸動脈小体腫瘍摘出術を2症例に対して行い，良好な結果を得たので報告する。

The surgical treatment of carotid body tumor requires preservation of the neural and vascular structures without compromising resection of neo-plasm. We applied an indwelling Sandt shunt tubeto a 59-year-old female and a 25-year-old female. Tumor was removed completely without additional resection and vascular reconstruction of the carotid arteries in each patient. There were no postoper-ative cerebrovascular complications. Indwelling internal vascular shunt tube facilitated subad-ventitial tumor dissection from the carotid artery. In case of an artery laceration, the indwelling tech-nique is useful to prevent cerebral ischemia during repairing.
