両側高度難聴，片側外耳道閉鎖を伴ったKniest dysplasiaの1症例

Kniest Dysplasia Accompanied with Profound I tearMg Loss:Report of a Case

　緒言

　Kniest dysplasiaは非常にまれな骨系統疾患の1つであり，小人症，特有な顔貌，運動障害など特異な臨床所見を示す。本疾患には難聴が合併することが知られているが，まれな疾患であるため耳鼻咽喉科領域での詳細な報告はほとんどない。歴史的には，1952年にKniest^1）がatypical chon-drodystrophyとして初めて報告し，1973年Mar-oteauxら^2）が1独立疾患であるとし，1978年公表の国際命名案^3）によってKniest dysplasiaと改訂されている。われわれは両側性高度難聴，片側性外耳道閉鎖を伴ったKniest dysplasiaの1例を経験したので報告する。

A 7-year-old boy with Kniest dysplasia was refer-red to us for evaluation of hearing. CT showed bony atresia of the right ear but no abnormality in theinner ear. The behavioral audiometry and auditory brain stem response suggested a profound hearing loss bilaterally : a sensorineural hearing loss in the right and a mixed hearing loss in the left. The damped rotation test showed normal response for his age.

Although he received auditory trainings with fit-ting of a hearing aid in his left ear, he did not develop speech and language.
