長期にわたって存在した鼻腔異物の1症例

An Intranasal Foreign Body Existed for a Long Time

　はじめに

　鼻腔異物は，しばしば見られる疾患であるが，その多くは10歳以下の幼小児で，玩具類を鼻内に挿入して引き起こされるものである。今回われわれは，幼小児期に挿入した異物が，その後自覚症状乏しく25年以上にわたって放置されていた症例を経験した。鼻腔異物に関する従来の報告では比較的早期に発見される例が多く，われわれの症例のように長期にわたる異物例は，極めて稀であるので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

It is unusual that foreign bodies in the nasal cavity exist for a long period of time in adults. A 35-year-old female patient presented with a foreign body in the nasal cavity unconciously for about 25 years. This foreign body contributed to epistaxis and it was surgically removed under local anesthesia.
