An osteoma is a benign, slow-growing bone-forming tumor that primarily consists of well-differentiated mature, compact or cancellous bone. Here, we report a case of a giant frontal sinus osteoma that was successfully resected using a combination of intranasal and extranasal approaches. The tumor was attached to the nasal bone. Complete removal would significantly affected the patient's appearance;therefore, we debulked the tumor as much as possible using a drill, and the nasal bone was not manipulated. The patient's nasal obstruction and headache improved postoperatively. This combined approach may be effective for treatment of large frontal sinus osteomas.
