Malignant lymphomas originated from the salivary glands are relatively rare although we often encountered the patients with malignant lymphoma. An 85-year-old patient with mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma arisen from the parotid gland. She was thought to have Sjögren syndrome. She underwent radical surgery and there were lymph nodes swelling in and around the parotid gland. Histopathological examination revealed that MALT lymphoma existed not only in the parotid gland but also in the lymph nodes. This result indicated that we must always consider lymph node involvement of MALT lymphoma although the incidence of lymph node involvement is not frequent.
