咽喉頭異常感を主訴とした甲状腺癌T4例の2手術例—術前診断における超音波検査の有用性

Two Surgical Cases of T4-classified Thyroid Cancer with Pharyngolaryngeal Paresthesia

I．緒言

　甲状腺腫瘍は自覚症状に乏しく，発見の契機が家族などの他人に指摘されたものや他疾患の受診時に診察医に指摘されたものが少なくない。腫瘍が良性のものならばともかく悪性のものであった場合，発見の時期の遅れはわれわれ医師にとっても重たな問題である。

　われわれは咽喉頭異常感と甲状腺疾患との関連を追求し，甲状腺悪性腫瘍の早期発見において咽喉頭異常感は見逃すことのできない自覚症状ではないかと考えた。

In 2 cases of T₄-classified thyroid cancers, the lesions were detected with ultrasonography. These patients complained of pharyngolaryngeal par-esthesia, but no other symptoms. These cancers invaded the anterior cervical muscles provoking paresthesia. The caution should be paid on silent malignancies with pharyngolaryngeal paresthesia.
