外切開または口蓋扁桃摘出術を要した咽頭腔外異物2例

Two cases of extra-pharyngeal foreign bodies removed by submandibular skin incision or tonsillectomy

Ⅰ．はじめに

　咽頭異物は日常診療においてしばしば遭遇する疾患であるが，異物が完全に咽頭腔外に脱出してしまうと異物の発見が困難になり，後日重大な合併症を招くことがある。今回われわれは，稀な方向に刺入脱出したため診断に難渋し，外科的手技により摘出した2症例を経験したので文献的考察とともに報告する。

　Case one was a 74-year-old woman who complained of right-sided submandibular swelling and pain on the third day after eating grilled fish. A fishbone of 4 cm length was found in the tongue base by CT. The foreign body was removed through a submandibular skin incision under general anesthesia. The second case was a 48-year-old man who felt a slight pharyngeal pain after eating home-made small fried shrimps. After nine days,he complained of right-sided pharyngeal pain. A needle-like foreign body was found behind the right palating tonsil by CT,and the foreign body was removed after tonsillectomy under general anesthesia.
