胃癌原発の転移性甲状腺癌例

Gastric Cancer Metastatic to the Thyroid Gland―Report of a Case―

I．はじめに

　転移性甲状腺癌は剖検により発見されることが多く，臨床症状を呈することは稀とされている^1）。臨床症状を呈した例として報告されている例では腎癌を原発とするものが多く，胃癌原発の転移性甲状腺癌は少ない^2）。

　今回われわれは，胃癌治療6年後に甲状腺転移をきたした例を経験したので報告する。

　A 62-year-old man,with a thyroid mass in the left lobe was found metastasis from gastric cancer to the thyroid six years after operation of the primary gastric lesion. There were no obvious metastatic lesions except in the thyroid. Operation was performed and histological examinations revealed the same findings as those of the original gastric cancer.
