帯状疱疹ウイルスによる声帯麻痺の1例

Vocal Cord Paralysis Caused by Varicella Zoster Virus

I．はじめに

　帯状疱疹ウイルス（varicella zoster virus：VZV）による脳神経障害では顔面神経や内耳神経障害を伴うことが多く，下位脳神経障害は比較的稀である^1）。われわれは，下咽頭粘膜に水疱を形成し，迷走神経単麻痺が認められた症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 72-year-old woman presented with left vocal cord paralysis caused by varicella zoster virus. Her complaint was dysphagia and she was found to show a swelling and disturbed movement of the left arytenoid process at the initial examination. A white mucosal lesion was also demonstrated in the postcricoid area. The lesion was disappeared 11 days after the initial examination. The definitive diagnosis was made based on the elevation of the anti varicella zoster titer.
