好酸球性中耳炎の2症例

Two cases of eosinophilic otitis media

I．はじめに

　好酸球性中耳炎は，1995年松谷ら^1）によって最初に提唱され，膠状の耳漏と耳漏中の多数の好酸球浸潤を特徴とする。多くは気管支喘息や副鼻腔炎を合併する難治性の中耳炎である。ステロイド以外には有効な治療がなく，発症機序も不明であることから近年注目を集めている。今回われわれは，経過の異なる2例の好酸球性中耳炎を経験したので報告する。

Two cases of eosinophilic otitis media were reported. One patient was a 53-year-old male and the other was a 53-year-old female. Both patients complained of ear pressure and hearing loss. They had persistant and intractable otitis media with viscous effusion containing eosiophils. Both suffered from bronchial asthma.

　Several treatments were provided,such as myringotomy,suctioning effusion,and steroids. Steroid therapy was very effective,however,one of the patients developed MRSA infection in the middle ear.
