黄斑円孔手術後の耳側視野欠損症例の長期経過

Long-term course of temporal visual field defect following macular hole surgery

　黄斑円孔に対する硝子体手術後に耳側周辺視野欠損を生じた症例のうち，術後2年以上経過が追えた6例7眼について視野異常の変化と眼底変化とを検討した。術後平均45か月の観察期間を経ても視野異常の程度に変化はなかった。経過中に上鼻側眼底に変化が生じたものが5眼あり，その最も特徴的な所見は限局性の網脈絡膜の変性萎縮であった。以上のことから，黄斑円孔手術後の周辺視野欠損は術後長期間を経てもその程度は変化しないこと，視野異常に相当する眼底に網脈絡膜変性が出現してくる例があることがわかった。

We reviewed 7 eyes of 6 patients who developed temporal visual field defect following macular hole surgery. There was no change in the visual field defect during the follow-up longer than 2 years and averaging 45 months. Localized retinochroidal atrophy in the superior nasal fundus developed in 4 of the 7 eyes during the course of follow-up. The findings show that temporal visual field defect after macular hole surgery is a persistent one and that retinochroidal atrophy corresponding to the visual field defect may develop in some eyes.
