ハードコンタクトレンズが迷入したと思われた涙腺偽腫瘍の1例

A case of pseudotumor in the lacrimal gland caused by migrated hard contact lens

（P−1-7）　71歳女性が左眼上眼瞼耳側の腫瘤で受診した。15年前までハードコンタクトレンズ（HCL）を使用しており，これを紛失したことが数回あった。嚢胞性腫瘤の診断でこれを摘出した。腫瘤塊の中にHCLが発見された。組織学的に、腫瘤は涙腺導管または副涙腺に由来する貯留嚢胞であった。紛失したHCLが結膜嚢に残留して結膜下に迷入し，慢性炎症などの結果涙腺導管または副涙腺を閉塞して嚢胞化したと推定された。

A 71-year-old woman presented with a tumor in the upper temporal eyelid in her left eye. She had been wearing hard contact lens until 15 years before. She had lost the contact lens a few times. When the tumor was surgically removed, a hard contact lens was found within the tumor mass. Histopathological studies showed the tumor to be a retention cyst originating either from the lacrimal duct accessory lacrimal glands. It appeared that the apparently lost contact lensremained in the conjunctival sac and migrated into the subconjunctival tissue and that it induced cyst formation by occluding the lacrimal duct or accessory lacrimal glands following chronic inflammations.
