要約　目的：ハードコンタクトレンズを紛失してから10年後に上眼瞼腫瘤として発見された症例の報告。症例：30歳女性が3か月前に左眼上眼瞼の腫瘤に気づいた。10年前に左眼のコンタクトレンズを紛失したが，落としたものと思っていた。左眼上眼瞼を反転すると円蓋部に白色の腫瘤があり，手術で摘出した。肉芽で覆われた腫瘤内にハードコンタクトレンズがあり，その凹面が眼瞼に向いていた。結論：異物としてのハードコンタクトレンズは炎症反応を起こさずに長期間にわたり結膜囊内に貯留することがある。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report a case of accidentally retained hard contact lens in the upper fornix for 10 years. Case：A 30-year-old female noted a tumor in the upper eyelid in her left eye 3 months before. She lost a hard contact lens worn in her left eye 10 years ago. Findings：A white mass was present in the upper fornix. The surgically removed tumor was covered by granular tissue and contained a hard contact lens with its concave side facing the eyelid. Conclusion：This case illustrates that a hard contact lens may be retained for longer period and remain silent without causing inflammatory reaction.
