　佐賀医科大学付属病院眼科で3〜186か月（平均44か月）の経過を観察したぶどう膜炎による続発緑内障70例105眼について検討した。開放隅角47眼中の44眼（94％），周辺虹彩前癒着が半周未満の39眼中の35眼（90％），半周以上の6眼中の4眼（67％），ぶどう膜炎発症早期の狭隅角の4眼中の4眼（100％）で最終的に炭酸脱水酵素阻害薬内服なしで眼圧が20mmHg以下にコントロールされた。lris bombeの2眼と白内障手術を単独で行った7眼はすべて眼圧がコントロールされており，105眼中の96眼（91％）が眼圧20mmHg以下にコントロールされた。しかし，治療開始後4〜181か月（平均43か月）では39眼中の20眼（51％）で視野が悪化していた。

We reviewed 105 eyes in 70 patients of glaucoma secondary to uveitis. They were followed up by us for 3 to 186 months, average 44 months. Control of intraocular pressure below 20 mmHg without carbonic anhydrase inhibitor was achieved in 44 of 47 eyes (94%) with open angle, in 35 of 39 eyes (90%) with peripheral anterior synechiae (PAS) involving less than 2 quadrants, in 4 of 6 eyes (67%) with PAS involving more than 2 quadrants, and in 4 of 4 eyes (100%) with transient narrow angle at the onset. Intraocular pressure was finally controlled in 96 of 105 eyes (91%), including 2 eyes with iris gibbera and 7 eyes operated for cataract. Visual field defect progressed in 20 of 39 eyes (51%) after the follow up for 4 to 181 months, average 43 months.
