光学的干渉断層計OCTで緑内障に対する濾過手術後の所見を観察した。マイトマイシン併用の線維柱帯切除術を行った11眼では,濾過胞の結膜の菲薄化,強膜弁下の間隙,濾過胞内の線維様組織が観察された。線維柱帯切開術を行った4眼では,トラベクロトームによる線維柱帯の裂隙が同定できた。OCTでの所見は超音波生体顕微鏡よりも深達性については劣るが,解像力がはるかに優れていた。
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was performed on 15 eyes which underwent filtering surgery for glaucoma. Trabeculectomy with topical mitomycin C was performed on 11 eyes and trabeculotomy on 4 eyes. Following trabeculectomy, OCT showed thinning of the conjunctiva over the filtering bleb, presence of a space under the scleral flap and fibrous tissue within the bleb. Following trabeculotomy, OCT showed fissure in the trabeculum formed by trabeculotome. Findings by OCT was inferior to those by ultrasound biomicroscope regarding the depth of penetration but gave more detailed images.
