緑内障の網膜神経線維層欠損と視神経乳頭陥凹のOCT所見

Optical coherence tomographic features of disc excavation and nerve fiber layer defects in glaucoma

　光学的干渉断層計（optical coherence tomography：OCT）ではレーザー光の眼底走査において円周走査と直線走査が可能である。円周走査は網膜神経線維層厚の測定に応用でき，直線走査は視神経乳頭の断層的観察に応用できる。そこで緑内障眼の網膜神経線維層欠損と視神経乳頭陥凹とをOCTを使って観察した。OCTによる網膜神経線維層厚の解析は簡便，迅速かつ再現性が高く，緑内障の診断と管理に有用と思われた。

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was performed on glaucoma eyes with disc excavation and/or nerve fiber layer defects. Circular tomography was useful in quantitation of the thickness of the retinal nerve fiber layer. Linear tomography was useful in quantitating the disc excavation. OCT appeared to be of value in the diagnosis of glaucoma and in evaluating the progression of glaucomatous fundus lesions.
