Clinial appraisal of Medmont static perimeter. Report 2

　メドモント（Medmont）静的自動視野計（glaucoma screenプログラム）を用いて緑内障患者20例37眼に視野検査を行い，その有用性をハンフリー静的視野計と比較し検討した。結果がほぼ，致した症例は18眼（49％），ほぼ一致するがメドモント視野計のほうが多くの暗点が検出されたものは8眼（22％），ほぼ一致するがハンフリー視野計のほうが多くの暗点が検出されたものは10眼（27％），両者の結果が全く異なっていたものは1眼（3％）であった。平均検査時間は3分15秒とハンフリー視野計のおよそ半分であり，今後一般臨床に有用な視野計であると思われた。

We evaluated the clinical usefulness of glaucoma screen program of Medmont static perimeter, M600, in 37 glaucoma eyes. The findings were compared with those by Humphrey static perimeter. Almost identical findings were obtained in 18 eyes, 49%. More numerous scotomas were detected in 8 eyes, 22%. Lesser number of scotoma were detected in 10 eyes, 27%. Largely different results between the two methods were obtained in 1 eye, 3%. The findings show the clinical usefulness of Medmont perimeter as the examination can be completed within 3 minutes and 15 seconds which is about one half required for examination by Humphrey perimeter.
