視野感度計について

Sensitometer

I．緒言

　通常の視野測定は，その範囲を数値的に表現することは出来ても，その見え方を数値的に表現することは出来ない。そこで視野の測定と同時に各部位の感度を測定することが出来れば一層精確になると思う。此の様な検査法として臨界融合頻度の測定があるが，これは暗調応状態の機能検査で一定値を得るには検査に長時間を必要とする。

　私達は明調応状態の機能検査で，而も通常の視野検査と同じ位置で各部位の感度を測定する目的で視野感度計を作り，短時間で一定値が得られ，更に検査に長時間を要しないので臨床上簡単に使用出来，而も価値のあることを知つたので，中心視野に就いて興味ある数例に就いて大要を報告する次第である。

We invented "sensitometer" (apparatus for messuring the sensitivity of light in the visual field), which can messure sensitivity of various places of the retina in light room, and was used in cases of glaucoma, opto-chiasmatic tumor.

Sensitivity of the retina was found to be lowered upwards and downwards from the Marriott's blind spot in both cases with Seidel's sign and without.

In opto-chiasmatic tumor bitemporal hyposensitivity was observed even if temporal hemia-nopsia was present only one eye. Therfore, it is possible to obtain early diagnosis of he-mianopsia.
