超音波角膜厚計測装置の試作

A prototype of ultrasonic corneal pachometer

　新しい超音波角膜厚計測装置を開発した。健康成人10人20眼を本装置と従来から市販されている超音波角膜厚計測装置DGH−500（国際交易／興和オプチメド）を用いて計測した。その結果，試作装置とDGH−500による測定値の相関関係は0.9929で，一次回帰直線はY＝0.965X＋14.8μm （Y：試作装置測定値：X：DGH−500測定値）であった。試作装置は，DGH−500によく相関し，十分に信頼できるものであった。

We developed a prototype of corneal pachometer which utilizes ultrasound with variable sound velocity between 1400 and 2000 m/s. It allows measurement of corneal thickness within the accuracy of 5 μm. We measured the corneal thickness in 20 healthy eyes and compared the obtained values with those by another ultrasonic pachometer DGH-500. We obtained the correlation coefficient of 0.9929 and the linear regression Y=0.965X+14.8 μm, where the Y stands for the value of our prototype and X for DGH-500. The values by the two methods were in close agreement, suggesting the usefulness of out prototype.
