北海道大学眼科における小児ぶどう膜炎の臨床統計

Review of uveitis in children in our institution

　1987年から1993年の7年間に北海道大学眼科を受診した15歳以下の小児内因性ぶどう膜炎患者104例についてその臨床像を検討した。性別では男女比が4対6と女性に多くみられた。原疾患ではサルコイドーシスが最も多かったが，低年齢層と高年齢層において構成する原疾患に違いがみられ，低年齢層ではサルコイドーシスの頻度は低かった。また，最近4年間の新来患者のみを検討すると，急性間質性腎炎に伴うぶどう膜炎が多くみられた。眼合併症では，続発緑内障，併発白内障，帯状角膜症が多く，若年性慢性虹彩毛様体炎および若年性関節リウマチに伴うぶどう膜炎においては，すべての症例でいずれかの合併症が見られた。

We reviewed the clinical features of endogenous uveitis in 104 children under 15 years of age during a 7-year period through 1993. The series comprised 41 males and 63 females. Sarcoidosis was the most frequent clinical entity, particularly in children aged 10 years or over. There was an increasing trend of tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis syndrome. Children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and chronic iridocyclitis in young girls tended to manifest cataract, glaucoma or band-shaped keratopathy as complica-tions of uveitis.
