沖縄における流行性角結膜炎の長期時系列分析

Time sequence analysis of longterm epidemic curve of adenovirus keratoconjunctivitis in Okinawa islands

　1986年10月から1992年12月までに，沖縄の眼科診療所3定点から報告された厚生省感染症サーベイランス情報をもとに，流行性角結膜炎（EKC）の流行曲線を時系列分析法（12か月移動平均法）で，季節変動を除いて解析した。長期的な傾向曲線の関数に対するあてはめにはF検定が用いられた。実測された流行曲線は1990年半ばをピークとしており，夏期に大きな季節変動があった。求められた傾向曲線は二次指数関数曲線に最もよく適合し，沖縄では今後EKCの発症は減少することが予測された。時系列分析によるEKCの流行曲線の解析が疫学的のみならず，地域公衆衛生学的にも有用であることが結論された。

A regional epidemic of epidemic keratoconjunctivitis (EKC) in Okinawa was evaluated by time-series analysis. The National Epidemic Surveillance Report between 1986 and 1992 served as material. The epidemic curve was analyzed by 12-month moving average method excluding seasonal deviations. Fitness of longterm trend of epidemic curve to functional curves was analyzed by F-test. The epidemic curve showed its peak in the middle of 1990 reflecting the typical seasonal deviation in summer. Longterm trend estimated by 12-month moving average method approximated the two-dimensional exponential curve. The findings suggest that the incidence of EKC in Okinawa will gradually decrease in near future.
