膜状白内障を伴ったMarinesco-Sjögren症候群の姉弟例

Marinesco-Sjögren syndrome with membraneous cataract in a pair of siblings

　膜状白内障を伴ったMarinesco-Sjögren症候群の姉弟例を報告した。症例はそれぞれ2歳と5か月であり，2例ともに両眼に膜状白内障があり，小脳性失調，精神運動発達遅滞，小人症を伴っていた。水晶体摘出術を行い，摘出水晶体の病理組織学的検討を行った。水晶体上皮細胞は高度に変性し，異所性の水晶体嚢の形成があり，水晶体実質は多量のコラーゲンに置換されている特殊なものであった。

We diagnosed a female child and her younger brother, aged 34 and 6 months each, as Marinesco-Sjoegren syndrome. Both cases manifested cerebellar ataxia, mental retardation, dwarfism and mem-braneous cataract in both eyes. Surgically obtained lens material showed advanced degeneration of epithe-lial cells and ectopic proliferation of the lens capsule. The lens stroma was extensively replaced by collagen fibrils.
