無水晶体眼16例22眼を対象として,遮光眼鏡(Retinex Soft®)のグレア光への有効性を検討した。日中・夜間におけるグレアについては,standard yellow,yellow green,dark greenの各フィルターの効果をグレアテスターで測定した。Photostress recovery timeについては,更にNDフィルターを用いて光量を調節した上で測定した。その結果,日中屋外にはyellow greenを,夜間にはstandard yellowを装用するのが適当と思われた。また,photostress recovery testの結果から近紫外光と可視光短波長領域の遮断が“Rreadaptation”timeを短縮させるが,可視光短波長領域を完全に遮光しなくても“readaptation”timeを短縮させることがわかった。
We evaluated the effect of colored filter lenses, Retinex SoftTM, in preventing glare disability in 22 aphakic eyes, 16 patients. We used a glare tester to evaluate three filters: standard yellow, yellow green and dark green ones. Photostress recovery time was measured after the quantity of light was adjusted with neutral density filter. As the result, yellow green filter was optimal for use under daylight, and standard yellow filter under nightlight conditions. Photostress recovery tests showed that the readaptation time decreased by blockage of near ultraviolet rays and of visible light in the shorter wavelength range. Readaptation time also decreased even with incomplete blockage of visible light in shorter wavelength range.
