  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

We observed 58 patients with apparent low ten-sion glaucoma during the foregoing 22-monthperiod. The ages averaged 55.9 years with standarddeviation of 11.5 years. All the cases were evaluat-ed radiologically including skull and paranasalsinus roentgenogram in addition to computed tomo-graphy with contrast enhancement. We detectedprimary empty sella syndrome in a 70-year-oldmale and intracranial aneurysm of right internalcarotid in a 63-year-old female. These intracraniallesions were thought to be responsible for the obser-ved glaucomatous disc and visual field changes. The findings point to the possible presence of intra-cranial lesions in cases presenting with low tensionglaucoma.
