病毒滅点眼液の抗HSV—Ⅰ臨床応用について

Clinical employment of strychnine nitrate for herpes simplex keratitis

　著者は1988年6月硝酸ストリキニーネの抗HSV—Ⅰ作用を発見し，0.03％および0.06％硝酸ストリキニーネ生理食塩水溶液を病毒滅点眼液と命名した。単純ヘルペス性角膜炎18例19眼の治療結果は病毒滅点眼液の抗HSV—Ⅰ作用を証明した。本薬の抗HSV—Ⅰ作用の特色は浅層深層病変にかかわらず，著明な効果がある。このほか，角膜神経栄養と眼球微循環の改善もあると思われる。本薬は単純ヘルペス性角膜炎の第一選択の全能薬として期待される。

In June 1988 I discovered that strychnine nitrate was the best drug against herpes simplex keratitis. I then treated 19 eyes with herpes simplex keratitis with 0.03% and 0.06% strychnine nitrate ophthal-mic solution. This ophthalmic solution was effec-tive including superficial and deep layers lesions. The excellent effect was obtained in 18 of the 18 eyes (100%). The treatment mechanisms of the strychnine nitrate ophthalmic solution are inhibi-tion of HSV-Ⅰ, rise of corneal nerve nutrition and improvement of microcirculation bulbi.
