Abstract Background:The capsular tension ring(CTR)may manage the zonular dehiscence and weakness during cataract surgery. However, The CTR-intraocular lens(IOL)-capsular bag complex has potential complications of dislocation and decentration.

Purpose:To report a case of repositioning the CTR-IOL-capsular bag complex dislocation by suturing eyelet of the CTR.

Case and Clinical Course:A 62-year-old male presented with visual field loss in left eye. Left eye showed CTR-IOL-capsular bag complex dislocation. Corrected visual acuity was 1.2 left. CTR-IOL-capsular bag complex reposition was performed by suturing eyelet of the CTR(trans-scleral 10-0 polypropylene). Postoperative uncorrected visual acuity was 1.2 without CTR-IOL-capsular bag complex extract and IOL implantation.

Conclusion:The CTR may manage the zonular dehiscence and weakness during cataract surgery. The CTR eyelet may manage the CTR-IOL-capsular bag complex dislocation and decentration after surgery.
