動脈硬化と眼球脈波について

Ocular pulse wave in cerebral arteriosclerosis

　我々は眼循環障害を疑わせる症例約300例にocculo cerebro vasculo meter （OCVM）による検査を施行し，OCVMで頭頸部血管異常を疑う症例31例に血管撮影を行った．これらのうち頭頸部血管の硬化所見の得られた3例についてのOCVMの結果を検討した．

　1例では，脈波は振幅が低く，また早期に消失した．他の2例では脈波振幅は低かったが，早期消失はみられなかった．

　動脈硬化は血管抵抗の上昇に伴い眼球脈波に影響を及ぼすと考えられるが，動脈硬化の部位，程度，代償機能によって脈波に対する影響は一定でないと推論した．

We performed oculocerebrovasculometry (OCVM) in 300 patients with confirmed or suspect-ed circulatory disorders in the eye. Cerebral angio-graphy was performed in 31 cases who manifested disorders in the vascular system in the head and neck region as detected by the OCVM test.

We present 3 representative cases with particular reference to OCVM findings as compared witharteriosclerosis as revealed by angiography.

The ocular pulse wave was found to be influen-ced by an increase in the vascular resistance due to arteriosclerosis. The OCVM findings failed to serve as a guide in the identification of the site, severity or the compensatory function of cerebral arterio-sclerosis.
