ぶどう膜炎によると思われる虚血性視神経症の1例

A case of bilateral anterior ischemic optic neuropathy associated with uveitis

　はじめ右眼，次に左眼にAIONを発症し，AIONの経過観察中に網膜静脈周囲炎を伴うぶどう膜炎が発症してきた症例を経験した．その発症に関して，はじめ，視神経の周囲に炎症が起こりAIONが発症し，炎症が波及してぶどう膜炎が起こってきたと推測された．

A 71-year-old female developed acute anterior ischemic optic neuropathy in her right eye and, 5 month later, in the fellow eye. Fifteen months after the initial involvement of the right eye, uveitis with retinal periphlebitis occurred bilaterally. We considered that the anteior ischemic optic neuro-pathy was casued by inflammatory vascular lesions surrounding the optic nerve and that the inflam-mation further spread to invade the uveal tissue.
