白内障嚢内超音波乳化吸引法

In tracapsular phacoemulsification and aspiration

　超音波の障害から角膜内皮を保護するために超音波法を水晶体前嚢下で行う新しい方法を開発し，1980年1月7日から9月1日までに，本法がほぼ着想通りに行われた61歳から78歳の21人26眼について最低3年追跡した結果を報告する。20眼に種々の眼内レンズが挿入された。角膜中央部内皮細胞損失率は全26眼で12.0±7.4％（1.3〜36.296），眼内レンズ挿入の20眼で13.6±7.7％（3,6〜36,2％），眼内レンズ非挿入の6眼で6.9±3.0％（1.3〜10.0％）であった。術後最高視力値は1.1±0.2（0.6〜1.5）であった。術中，術後合併症は11眼（42.3％）に生じた。水晶体後嚢破損の3眼も含め合併症は全て良好に処理された。

Phacoemulsification-aspiration was performed on 26 eyes using a new approach to perform the manipulation under the anterior lens capsule to protect the corneal endthelium from the damage by the ultrasound during a 9-month period with a follow-up period of 3 years or more. The age of the patients ranged from 61 to 78 years. Implantation of intraocular lens of various types was performed in 20 of the 26 eyes.

The final postoperative visual acuity ranged from 0.6 to 1.5 and averaged 1.1±0.2 (M±s.d.). The endothelial cell loss in the central cornea ranged from 1.3 to 36.2% and averaged 12.0+7.4%.
