Stevens-Johnson症候群の1例—その治療法に関する工夫

A case of Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Treatment of ocular complications

　高尿酸血症治療の目的で用いられたアロプリノール製剤投与中にStevens—Johnson症候群を発症した27歳男性の1例を経験し，その眼合併症の急性期には，SCL装用およびステロイド全身投与等の治療のほか，持続球後麻酔による眼痛のコントロール，慢性期には人工涙液の持続点眼による乾性角結膜炎の治療を試み，一応の効果を認めたので報告する。

A 27-year-old male developed acute ocular and muco-cutaneous lesions during systemic thearpy with allopurinol for chronic renal failure and sys-temic hypertension. As ocular symptoms further aggravated after amelioration of systemic manifes-tations, he was referred to us for specific ocular treatment 10 weeks after onset of the disease.

Besides intense edema of the eyelids, bulber con-junctiva and corneal erosion which reduced the visual acuity to hand movements in each eye, severe and intractable ocular pain was the most distressful subjective symptom.
