  • Look Inside

A 62-year-old female developed typical features of bilateral oculomotor palsy following blunt head trauma in a traffic accident. The oculomotor nerves were apparently injured at the edge of the ten-rorium cerebelli.

Spontaneous recovery of the oculomotor palsy began 2 months after the injury and showed signs of aberrant nerve regeneration. There occurred widening of the palpebral fissure on attempted ad-duction and depression. Mydriasis occurred during adduction and attempted elevation and depression.
