頸部内頸動脈閉塞症に伴うHorner症候群—3症例の検討

Internal carotid artery occlusion with ipsilateral Horner's syndrome.:Report of three cases

　頸部内頸動脈閉塞症に同側のHorner症候群を伴った3症例を報告した。1例においてcocaine-phenylephrine点眼試験により，交感神経節後ノイロンに障害があることが確認された。上頸神経節には変化が認められなかったことより，内頸動脈周囲交感神経の障害によりHorner症候群が発現したと考えられた。

Three cases of internal carotid artery occlusion with ipsilateral Horner's syndrome are reported. Pupillary drug test in one case indicated that Horner's syndrome was caused by the disturbance of post-ganglionic neuron. Superior cervical gan-glions in two cases were examined and found to be intact.

Sympathetic nerve fibers around the occluded carotid artery might be injured by stretching, ischemia or other mechanism resulting in Horner's syndrome.
