糖尿病性網膜症—光凝固の網膜毛細血管網に及ぼす影響

Diabetic retinopathy.:Effect of photocoagulation therapy on nonperfusing capillary network

　増殖型糖尿病性網膜症患者16名（26眼）において，光凝固の，網膜丘細血管網におよぼす影響について検討した。治療後22眼には，capillary nonperfusing zoneに種々の範囲の毛細血管網の再造影が認められた。再造影された毛細血管網の大部分は，治療前の残存血管網の構造に類似していたが，一部では，血管網を構成する血管の太さ，走行などが正常のそれと著しく異なっていた。前者は毛細血管網の再疎通，後者は再形成の所見と考えられた。以上の結果から，光凝固は，網膜毛細血管網の流通性にも著しい効果を持つものと結論した。

We performed fluorescein angiography in 26 eyes with proliferative diabetic retinopathy, and studied the effect of photocoagulation therapy on the non-perfusing capillary network of the retina.

In the beginning of the treatment, all eyes showed the nonperfusing areas in the retinal capil-lary network. Reopening or new formation of the capillary network was encountered in the nonper-fusing areas of 22 eyes after the treatment.

A conclusion was made that photocoagulation had a pronounced effect on the nonperfusing capil-lary network in diabetic retinopathy.
