Familial general fibrosis syndrome

　general fibrosis syndromeの1家系について報告した。

　親子2代のうち，父親と同胞2名（姉，弟）中2名に本症候群が出現し，常染色体優性遺伝と考えられる。そのうちの1例に下直筋切腱，上直筋短縮術を行い満足すべき眼位をえた。

　4直筋の生検を行った結果，筋肉の変性，萎縮，結合織の増生および軽いfibrosisがみられた。また筋肉により障害の程度に差がみられた。

We presented a family of three patients with general fibrosis syndrome. The father, the son and the daughter were involved, indicating an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance. After the disinsertion of the inferior rectus muscles and the resection of the superior rectus muscles, the eye position was relatively well corrected. The histologic examination of excised tissue from the 4 rectus muscles by light microscopy revealed atrophy and degeneration of muscle fibers, as well as connective tissue proliferation and fibrosis.
