都市近郊農村における結膜嚢内細菌叢およびその薬剤感受性について

Bacterial flora of conjunctival sac and their antibiotic sensitivity in Tsuchiura

　土浦協同病院眼科外来を1980年5月から8月の4カ月間に受診した患者より，健常結膜100例，病的結膜100例を選び，その結膜嚢内細菌叢と分離菌の薬剤感受性について実験を行い次の結果を得た。

（1）健常結膜より細菌が検出されたものは57症例（57劣），病的結膜より細菌が分離されたものは58症例（58％）であり，いずれも従来の検出率とほぼ一致するものであった。また健常結膜と病的結膜の検出率には差がないものと考えられた。

（2）健常結膜より分離された菌はStaph．epidermidisが43株（58.9％）と最も多く，次いでMicrococcus 12株（16.4％）であった。病的結膜からは，やはりStaph．epidermi—disが26株（34.7％）と最も多く認められたが，健常結膜に比較してその割合は減少していた。次いでStaph．aureus 13株（17.3％），α—Streptococcus 10株（13.3％），Hemophilus9株（12.0％）の順に検出された。正常細菌叢を考慮すると，Staph．aureus，α—Streptococcus，Hemophilusの3種の細菌が，土浦地方における細菌性結膜炎の主たる原因菌であることが示唆された。

（3）分離された細菌の各薬剤に対する感受性は，従来の報告に比較して良い傾向を示していたが，これは当地方における特色と思われた。

We evaluated the bacterial flora of the conjunc-tival sac in 100 patients with pathological conjunc-tiva by means of culture of the conjunctival smear in blood agar medium. Another series of 100 sub-jects with apparently normal conjunctiva served as control. Our hospital is located in Tsuchiura City and roughly one-half of the patients live in rural area and are engaged in agriculture. The present study was conducted during May through August, 1980.

Bacterial organisms were isolated in 57% of healthy subjects and in 58% of patients with signs of conjunctival irritation.
