　われわれは稀な腰部硬膜内に発生したhemangiopericytomaの1例を経験したので文献的考察を加えて報告する．症例は13歳，男性で，頑固な左大腿後面痛を訴えたが明らかな神経学的脱落所見は認めなかった．画像診断で硬膜内髄外腫瘍と診断し摘出術を行った．血管に富んだ暗赤色の腫瘍を摘出し，病理診断でhemangiopericytomaと診断した．術後現在1年10カ月で左大腿後面痛は消失し，腫瘍の再発を認めない．Hemangiopericytomaは再発，転移例の報告があり予後不良のため，今後長期的に経過観察が必要である．

　A 13-year-old boy consulted our institution suffering from persistent left leg pain without neurological deficit. Radiological findings showed intradural-extramedullary tumor in the lumbar spine, and histological findings revealed hemangiopericytoma. We performed a hemilaminectomy to remove the tumor. At one year 10 months postoperatively, the patient showed no symptoms and had no recurrence. Hemangiopericytoma is rare and has a poor prognosis due to a tendency to relapse. Surgeons must therefore follow-up patients carefully over an extended period so that any relapse can be caught at an early stage.
