　頚髄に発生した非常に稀なhemangiopericytomaの2例を経験したため，文献的考察を加え報告する．2症例とも手術・放射線照射を行った．症例1はほぼ腫瘍を全摘出でき，術後再発を認めていない．症例2は出血コントロール不良なため全摘出は不能で，組織学的にも悪性であり早期に再発・転移を来し死亡した．Hemangiopericytomaは多岐にわたる悪性度を持ち，一般的には手術，放射線治療が行われている．今後は予後の改善のため，化学療法を含めた補助療法についても検討すべきと考えられた．

　We report two cases of hemangiopericytoma of the cervical spine and review the literature.　Both cases were treated by surgery and radiotherapy.　In one case, we performed nearly total resection, and the tumor was diagnosed as benign.　After 5 years of follow-up, there was no evidence of recurrence.　In the other case, because of extensive intra-operative bleeding, we only partially resected a tumor that was diagnosed as malignant, and the patient died of multiple metastases 11 months later.　Only a few cases of hemangiopericytoma of the spine have ever been, and reported most of them were treated by surgery and radiotherapy.　However, local recurrence and metastasis was not uncommon, and adjuvant therapy, including chemotherapy, should be further assessed.
