新入医局員のための顕微鏡下白内障手術に対するわれわれの指導要領について

Guidelincs in initiating ophthalmic residents into cataract surgery under the microscope

緒　言

　白内障手術は過去と現在とを問わず代表的な前眼部手術と目されている。その理由は本手術が前眼部手術に必要とされる種々の手術手技をほとんど全部含んでいて，本手術に習熟すれば少なくとも技術的には他の前眼部手術も比較的容易に行うことができるようになると考えられるからである。同時に本手術は内眼手術中最も数が多く，手術の定型を学ぶのに適している。したがつて新入医局員をophthalmic surgeonsとして教育する上で本手術の修練は最も重要な地位を占める。それゆえその教育方法はすべての眼科学教室によつて卒後教育の中心的課題の一つとして論議さるべき事柄である。

　これここに当眼科学教室の訓練方法と成績を紹介するゆえんである。

Residents are encouraged to perform cataract surgeries under the microscope at an early stage of training period. After 6 months to teaching, observation and assisting, the resident is assigned to his first intracapsular cataract surgery. Exce-llent surgical results can be expected with planned prior educational approach.
