  • Look Inside

The rapid decay of the off-response in the human electroretinogram (ERG) was demon-strated in our previous study21,22) to he indicative of photopic activity at the receptor level. The present paper primarily deals with the spectral sensitivity of the rapid decay in normal subjects and in patients with dyschromatopsia, with an ultimate purpose of an objective detection and estimation of dyschromatopsia at the receptor level. The ERG was led off through a non-polarizable Zn・ZnSO4 electrode, the tip of which was placed on the cornea via a hydrophilic soft contact lens.
