慢性緑内障眼の網膜電図と網膜組織学的所見

Electroretinogram of the Isolated Eyecup from a Glaucomatous Patient

緒言

　緑内障眼ERGについては，必ずしも見解の一致をみない^{1）6）12）14）17）19）22）}。本報では，10年来強角膜ぶどう腫および緑内障に罹患していた患者のin vivoおよびin vitro ERG所見を記し，あわせて網膜組織学的所見を報告する。

The electroretinogram was studied both in-situ and in-vitro in a case of long-standing glaucoma. The patient, a 17-year old male, has been suffering from sclerocorneal staphyloma and absolute glaucoma resulting from perfora-ting injury in the right eye on the 40th day after his birth. The vision of the affected eye has been completely lost. The in-vivo ERGrecorded with an active electrode on the cornea was greatly decreased in amplitude even with intense stimulus from a 20J xenon flash. (Fig. 1, left column) The affected eye was enucle-ated for the purpose of cosmetic improvement.
