Cycloscopy in Primary Angle-Closure Glaucoma Subjects

緒　言

　Primary angle-closure glaucomaの成因については，解剖学的要因として，小眼球，毛様体の位置異常，水晶体偏位等が挙げられているが，これに生理学的要因が加わつていると考えられている。すなわちChandler^1）のpupillary blockの考えである。換言すれば水晶体の位置および厚さの変化によりphysiological iris bombéの状態が起り前房が浅くなり隅角の狭少化をひき起すと考えられている。

　毛様体の位置異常については，primary angle-closure glaucomaでは，前方へrotateしているとされている^2）が，これは摘出眼における所見であり現在まで生体における狭隅角眼での毛様体に関する報告はみられていない。

It has been widely accepted that the anteriorrotation of the ciliary process is an important causative factor of the narrowing of anterior chamber angle in cases with primary angle-closure glaucoma. However, this concept is mainly based on the histopathological studies. In order to clarify anatomic factors of angle-closure glaucoma, the ciliary process of prima-ry angle-closure glaucoma was observed by means of the Tohoku University Gonio-cyclo-scope and the conventional gonioscope such as the Goldmann three mirror lens.
