結核性眼疾患に対するThiasin-INH2者併用及びThiasin-INH-SM又はKM3者併用療法の効果に就て

Effects of combined treatment with Thiasin-INH and Thiasin-INH and SM or KM on tuberculous diseases of the eye.

　近時SM, PAS, PZA, INHなど一連の抗結核剤の併用により結核症に対し著明な効果があげられているが，Sulfisoxazole （以下SI）の抗結核作用は昭和28〜29年来斎藤，内藤らにより注目されたもので以来各所でSIのin vitro及びinvivoにおけるすぐれた抗結核作用が検討され且つ又実証されて来た。臨床的にはSI-INH併用法が行われ，特にSIが従来の抗結核剤と交叉耐性がない点から，他剤に耐性の結核患者にも用いられて好成績のことが数多報告されている。然しこれらの臨床使用成績の大部分は肺結核症に対するものである。

　私共は今回結核性眼疾患に対し本療法を試みてみる機会を得たので以下にそれらの成績を簡単に報告する。

The combined treatment with Thiasin and INH was tried in 49 cases with tuberculous di-seases of the eye.

I. The results of the combined treatment were summarized as follows.

1) 4 cases of phlyctenule with repeated relapse were treated effectively.

2) 6 cases with scleritis and 2 cases with sclerokeratitis were all cured rapidly.

3) Of 7 cases of iridocyclitis, 6 cases responded well to the therapy, but the remaining one case had no response.

4) 3 cases of periphlebitis of the retina were treated.
