スポンジボールによる水晶体後嚢破裂例について

Rupture of posterior capsule of lens caused by sponge ball injury

緒言

　スポンジボールによる眼外傷の報告例は，現在迄多数あるが水晶体損傷例は数少く，現在迄の報告では，水晶体脱臼，白内障，フォシウス輪状溷濁，一過性白内障などである。

　私は，スポンジボールが左眼に当り水晶体後嚢破裂を起して，水晶体質が硝子体腔にはみ出して居る例に遭遇した。この様な症例は本邦には今迄1例の報告もなく，稀有な症例であるのでここに報告する。

The patient was a man aged 29 years. He had a trauma on his left eye thru a hit by a sponge-ball. In the eye, the posterior lens-capsule had a fissure and at the fissure the lens-substance protruded partly into the vitreous body. In the other part of the eye, there were no abnormal findings. The vision of the eye was 0.2 and by pharmacotherapy this change was not improved. The author knows no other case as this, so, this may be the first case of traumatic fissure on the posterior lens capsule.
