視力の他覚的測定法に関する臨床的研究（1）

The clinical study of objective measurement of visual acuity (Report 1)

1はじめに

　視力の他覚的測定法に関する研究は，1931年以来，Ohm氏を嚆矢として，Goldmann，Gunther,Romberg,Nicolaiの諸氏が夫々originalな方法を考案し，これ等の方法，あるいはその変法によつて，かなり多くの研究者が測定を行つて来ている。

　私達^1）〜16）も3年前からこの研究に着手し，主として視覚生理学の立場から，種々な基礎実験を行い，結果を日眼誌上に発表して来た。

The relation between the objectively measured visual acuity and the subjectively mea-sured visual acuity was examined in 75 eyes of emmetropia and 25 perfectly corrected eyes.

The objective measurement of visual acuity was performed by assistance of the occu-rence and disappearance of optokinetic pendulous nystagmus with "Yamaji's Objective Vision Tester".

As the results, it was recognized that : 1) the subjectively measured visual acuity concentrated on 1.2 and 1.5, and the objec-tively measured value concentrated on 470~490 cm, 2) the relation between both values was correlative in order, 3) then, our method for objective measurement of visual acuity was sufficiently appli-cable to clinic.
