The relation between the objectively measured visual acuity and the subjectively mea-sured visual acuity was examined in 100 eyes of ammetropia.

The objective measurement of visual acuity was performed by the assistance of the di-sappearance of optokinetic pendulous nystagmus with "Yamaji's Objective Vision Tester".

The results were as follows :

1) About the relation of both visual acuities, the Correlation Coefficient (r) was as follows.

r1= 0.96 r2= 0.79 r3= 0.93

As these values approached to 1, the relation of both visual acuities correlated suffici-ently in order.
