　大阪大学放射線教室の五百住氏^1）等により考案試作され，千葉大学鈴木教授^2）によつて，理論的裏づけをされた低周直角脈波通電は，その優秀なる効果により注目をあび，各科にて，その治療効果の報告をみているが，今までの電気治療では到底期待出来なかつた良好な成績をあげているものが少くない。しかるに眼科領域に於ける本療法の報告は極めて少ない。私達は此度，所謂学校近視（仮性近視を含む）を主体とし，其他2〜3の疾患に対し，低周直角脈波通電による治療を行つて，予期以上の良好な成績を得たので，ここに報告する。

The treatment with Augospel, a super-low frequency therapeutic apparatus, was adminis-tered to 25 cases of the so-called myopia scholaris and 10 cases of several eye diseases, and the following results were obtained.

1) Out of 49 eyes suffering from myopia scholaris, the results were excellent in 19 eyes, good in 9 eyes and fair in 15 eyes (effective rate : 89.6%). In other words, 23 patients or 88% out of 25 showed some improvements.
