外傷性視神経萎縮の臨床的観察

Clinical observations on the posttraumatic optic atrophy

緒言

　最近急速に発達してきた我国の工業，交通，スポーツ等における外傷は，理論的には文化の向上により減少すべき性質のものであるのに，実際はそれと遙かに懸離れ，逆に増加の一途を辿りつつある。眼科領域においても，斯かる外傷が，近時年汝増加の傾向を示し^1），その最も代表的であり，しかも視力の予後が不良と思われる視神経の損傷に関しては，特に関心が注がれ，従来多くの報告がみられる^2）3）4）。私共は近年来この外傷性視神経萎縮数例に遭遇し，聊か知見を得たので茲に報告する。

The authors had observed on five cases of posttraumatic optic atrophy : - Ⅰst case, 29 aged male, received full impact onto the right forehead, Ⅱnd case, 18 aged male, onto the left cheekbone region, Ⅲrd case, 34 aged male, onto the right eyebrow, IVth case, 23 aged male, onto the right frontal region, Vth case, 32 aged male, onto the eyebrow and upper cheek, and all involved the optic atrophy two weeks to one month after respective contus-ions. And they came to the following conclusions as a result :
