大腸菌の混合感染に依る眼瞼膿瘍の1例

Acase of abscess of the eye-lid caused by the mixed infection of colibacillus

　私は最近，比較的緩慢な経過をたどつた，眼瞼膿瘍の膿汁の培養から大腸菌と葡萄球菌を証明した1例に遭遇した。大腸菌が眼瞼膿瘍の炎症巣より認められた報告は，私の調べた所では見当らないので茲に報告する。

The author reported a rare case of participating the colibacillus and staphylococcus in the abscess of eye-lid as the causal agent.

Case ; 21 year old female, the author observed pus discharged from the incised part of the abscess of the eye-lid. It was seemed to be caused by the trauma and differentiated from the ordinal one discharged from the abscess that was caused by suppurative microco-ccus ; that is with a little darkend green-yellow color and special fetor.

Then the author cultured the pus in the ordinal agar-agar and found the colibacillus and staphylococcus in them, that was appeared to be the causal agent.
